2022-2023 Ladas Memorial Award Essay Competition

Sponsored by the law firm Ladas & Parry LLP, the Ladas Memorial Award is an annual international competition that is open to both students and professionals. It was established in memory of the outstanding practitioner and author, Stephen P. Ladas.

Winners

Winners will be announced in March 2023. INTA will award the authors of the top two papers in the student category and the top paper in the professional category.

The student category winners will each receive US $1,250 and a complimentary registration to the 2023 Annual Meeting. The professional category winner will receive a complimentary registration to the 2023 Annual Meeting and a set of Stephen P. Ladas’s three-volume treatise, Patents, Trademarks, and Related Rights.

Winning papers will also be considered for possible publication in
The Trademark Reporter (TMR), INTA’s legal journal; publication will be subject to the TMR Committee’s editorial review and approval.
